I sure hope so!

He may just not be included in this roster because of the suspension. He will probably be in the 94 range. And yes, he is better then Romo and Schaub.

How the hell does Vernon Davis only have 90 speed? That's a joke.

He runs around a 4.4 so what are they supposed to give him? He is easily the fastest TE in the league but its not like he has Chris Johnson/ DeSean Jackson speed. I'd say between 90-92 is about right for him.

Madden's rating system isn't capable of making its players mirror their real-life counterparts anyway. Ike Taylor runs in the 4.27 range but is routinely rated in the low 90's in speed. In reality no matter what his other ratings show, the Madden raters know that they can't give him speed in his true range or it will make him better then he is in real life. It's the same thing with the whole Mike Vick argument from a few years ago. Their system just can't accurately put the inputed ratings into the players on the field.

so as long as he is still the fasted TE in the game, I'm fine with 90 His speed should be in the 92-94 range, hes faster than most running backs and some WR's, I'll just raise it before going into my offline franchise......but I'm not ok with Jason Witton having a better rating than Vernon......Vernon is a better pass blocker, faster, and has shown he can catch in traffic for big key plays. I agree.

I think us 9er fans need to worry more about Shawnte Spencer's speed...as well as Dashon Goldson's rating.....I'm guessing Goldson's rating will be between 76-83.

Spencer should be moved back to 91 speed...like he was a couple of years ago, and his overall rating better be up this year....the guy is basically our best covering CB...and he can tackle too. I agree
Response in red.

Because Collins' speed or lack there of was the most talked about rating on the Packers rating thread on the EA forums. And not only did he ignore our crys all lst year, but he is being stubburn and doesn't want to admit he was wrong, by giving Collins his 95 speed. What a joke.

RIGHT ON THE MONEY !!

NICK COLLINS IS THE FASTEST FS IN THE NFL...

Willis also has better career stats, enough to give him a 3 point higher rating than Beason.

Plus, Willis is 3-4 inside backer. Its a entirely different world, then being a 4-3 MLB.

This is an insane comment. John Lynch was 6'2" 220 lbs.

The man made 9 pro bowls, and was All-Pro twice.

Jason peters isn't a top 5 LT?

To the people saying Willis and Beason are even.

Watch ONE 49ers game, and you will know why he is the BEST LB IN THE NFL.

Period.

That's where your wrong. If you look at their stats Willis has enough seperation from Beason that allows him to have a 3 point higher rating.

There are a few underated players in Madden but I agree that most players are WAY overated. Last year it was supposed to be that all the positions got lowered. But with all the updates, it is almost where it used to be. That is why I do my own ratings based off of what EA claimed would be the system starting in 2010. 85+ is a pro bowler. 80 and above is a good starter. 70's are players who are starters but could be upgraded. Nowadays, if a good player is rated 78, fans get SO pissed off about it. Like that is saying he is a back up. A 78 is a solid starter. Again, that is why I just do my own ratings.

Oh and I agree with some of you that there are WAAAYYY to many 90 and ups. Madden actually stated that an 85 and above was a pro bowl caliber guy. I didn't make that up. But now it is like you need to be a 90 and above to even be considered. It is just dumb.

# 135 CRAWDADDYDOLLARS @ 06/23/10 06:52 PM
wow basically the same as the last update they did at the end of the year football year.

yeah, the QB ratings are crazy. brees is good, but i see him more in the 97 range. manning is the best QB though, so it's fair

Have you watched Polite play? He is EASILY the best blocking fullback in the league, and is a monster at converting for 1st down's in short yardage. Now, put them both at HB and Weaver is far better. As a true fullback though, Polite is much better.

That is true, but the ratings should be about who is the best right now. Not who is the best over their career. If Joe Montana made a come back, they wouldn't rate him a 99. He isn't what he used to be and his rating should reflect it.

# 140 Chargersa7x @ 06/23/10 11:01 PM
IMO FIFA does a much better job with ratings, and I remember right they have like three players in the 90s
