I compensate the difference by using zoom for nothing but getting a closer view at the green. I still aim from the view from the golfer but with an idea of the green I'm hitting into.

That is a compromise I was willing to make with myself though like you, I respect the different opinion on the matter all together.

Elevations too?! Gotta have to look out again.

Did you guys change the standard clubs in your bag?! I just go with the standard settings. Any tips on swapping clubs here and there?!

I just changed the loft of my driver to 10.0° until my power gets high enough, then I use an 8.5° driver.

To be perfectly honest, I am more than a little surprised that EA's marketing department has not given guys like Handsward the go ahead to talk about the DLC/Content Update plan going forward. This game is getting killed in reviews, a quick way to get some better publicity would be to talk about future plans for this title.

The decision making at the top with EA and the lack of transparency baffles me at times. This is in no way a reflection on Handsward as his excitement in wanting to talk about the future of this title has been evident.

Make it so we can earn XP outside of career mode when we play with our created golfer. For example, online, play now, and maybe even in night club mode.

I like to play with my created golfer against my buddies in "play now" mode. What's the point now when I don't even earn XP.

I wish in Career mode, there was a way to see what differences there are in yardage with your current attributes and all the different clubs. ATM, it's all trial and error. If I want to replace my 3 hybrid with a 2 iron, I won't know the tangible difference until I play the round.

It would be great info to have right on the menu screen where you choose your clubs.

I posted a while back that I wished the option was there to adjust AI scoring as in years past to make career mode a little more difficult. Now I've noticed something else off with the scoring.

The scores have mammoth drop offs after round 1 in some tournaments for no reason. For example, I'm playing The Open. I shot a -6 in round 1 and was surprised to see Mickelson bested me with a -8. But after round 2, the leader was still at -8 (other than myself in first at -11). Now I'm in round 3 and the best AI score is at -7 (I'm at -14). It's like everyone comes out in round one and goes low and then just plays par or worse the rest of the way. This happens is just about every tournament.

It really makes some of these tournaments anti climatic when I know I can just play for par every hole and win.

Make it so I can assign my xp points the way I want. I normally only like to make my golfer around 75-80% and stop there to keep it somewhat challenging.

PLEASE add a dynamic difficulty to career mode, I'm in the second round of the web.com tour and I am bored already, I'm up Over 10 shots already

We should have a whole thread that starts with the first 5 words of this post

"I wish in Career Mode.............." and we can fill in the blanks. I wouldn't know where to begin.

They probably should have waited another year before releasing so the game wouldnt be so bare.

To be honest, EVERY game is like this. Just look at all the other forums and their wishlist threads.

I'm having a great time in Career mode, personally. I missed the cut in the Wetlands tourney and finished top 25 at Bay Hill at -9, with the winner shooting -21 (no falling off to let me win like some others are seeing). But I'm having a great time because I set my expectations accordingly.

The large majority of us on these forums knew about the lack of courses, modes, options etc. If not before EA Access, most certainly after whether it be from playing or watching streams. So I'm not going to sit here and whine about stuff I knew weren't going to be included. By purchasing the game with what I knew, I was accepting it's relatively bare-bones state.

I'm hoping guys like Handsward continue to read people's ideas and include what they can. If they don't, I'll be the first to complain because of their stated intentions to release content updates, both free and paid. In the meantime, I knew what I was buying.

I upped the lie difficulty to advanced, swing to hard, everything the hardest.... Play the EA invitational at wolf creek and we can talk again...

To me this is much harder and challenging now. Love it.

This game is an abomination, the putting is horrible, the online is badly glitched, and it's bare bones as far as content or features. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, and with EA's track record, they either won't fix all the glaring issues, or they will and when they do they will break countless others. EA is the worst game maker on the planet, and it's a shame they keep releasing broken games. This will be the last EA game I buy.

I think you're spot on here. This was my main rant; people who brought the game knowing what it was like then made posts: saying lack of content; bad player creation; no game modes; its unplayable without DLC....
Personally I did not buy the game because of those reasons and I fear that there will be very little DLC now because of how well the game has sold (No1 in the charts here in the UK). So with those figures EA can see this golf game as a fantastic release and a job well done contrary to what any reviews say as it's all about the sales. Its for those reasons that I think DLC will be incredibly limited and not for a long time, hence why there has been zero updates regarding its release.
If people were not happy with the game content why did they buy it without any knowledge of when DLC will be available and what it will actually be? Just makes no sense to me. EA absolutely laughing with this one.

My main issue is the broken online, which does a vast assortment of troubling things, but to be fair on lack of content, the game came out with a very limited amount of news about it. I guess in retrospect I could have waited until I heard from others, but their experiences might not be similar to mine, I enjoy online play, and this is definitely badly broken, and to hope that EA fixes this correctly is pie in the sky

I prefer not to be as cynical and IMO, I think the sales will encourage EA to release DLC more not less. If this game sold poorly, there would be little audience to appease with DLC. Now there's money to be made. And though I don't hold anywhere near as much contempt towards EA like a lot on here do, I do fear the higher ups will look at this as permission to cut back the free DLC and make more of it paid.

Yea, you guys are right. I've played more and am starting to really enjoy the game. I hadn't noticed the bunny rabbits running through the sand traps before. What a huge difference that has mad for me now that I have seen it.

Also, the "racing golf carts" update made me completely forget about the fact that there is no Pebble Beach, Torrey Pines, etc.
