MLB The Show 17 Live Twitch Stream and Developer Blog Schedule Revealed

The MLB The Show 17 team revealed their Twitch Livestream schedule this year which also revealed a lot of new features coming to this year's game.

The live streams will start on Twitch on February 7th and will run weekly through March 23rd. In total, 11 live streams are scheduled with one yet to be finalized with regards to date.

In the descriptors for each live stream are some new details of features coming to MLB The Show 17.
  • Gameplay: New Ball Physics, Humanity AI, Cat and Mouse Gameplay, All New Catch and Throw Engine (+More!)
  • Diamond Dynasty Gets Dynamic: Events, Seasons, Programs, Missions 2.0, New Legends & Flashbacks. More!
  • The Little Things: New Uniform Sets, Universal Profile Overhaul, New Brands. More!
  • Presentation and Commentary: Showtrack, New Commentary?
  • Franchise Mode: Launch Pad, Player Quirks, Franchise Front Office.
  • Road to the Show and Create-A-Player: Player Model Revamps, Pave Your Path, Create-A-Player Revamp, PYP.
  • Graphics: Lighting, Grass Tech, New Head Rig, Classic Stadiums.

MLB The Show 17 Releases on March 28.

I personally think adding Harold Reynolds would be a great addition. It would finally complete a real MLB Network cast compared to just Matty V one person in the booth from MLB Network. Matty V & Harold Reynolds work very well together and make each other so much better. These two guys feeds off of each other and I can imagine there lines would be smooth as butter.

If they have something like Hot Stove or some of the other MLB Network shows than this would be pretty amazing.

I would like to see the commentators having a conversation during the games, but say a batter hits a double go to play by play but return to the conversation they were having before etc.

He's pretty bad in real life, but in a game it could be different I suppose.

Yeah, in the game I think Reynolds would be a great addition, especially alongside Matty V. Hopefully they recorded some audio together and we'll get a little more chemistry and fluidity between the broadcast team. He might not be everyone's top choice but it would be a change that some have wanted and personally, I think he is an upgrade from Karros or Lyons. Just curious who the other man in the booth might be?

I like this as well... Since a majority of MLB teams has FS as game broadcaster.

I'd like to see Matty V. paired up with Smoltz with the studio host either being Greg Amsinger or Lauren Shehadi.

I'd be a happy camper.

I love the speculation about who's joining the booth and the presentation package.

Honestly, as long as it's not Joe Buck or Rex Hudler I'll love it. Any true baseball fan that has listened to Rex will understand my frustration with that guy.
