"A rookie defensive back sealed the fate of the Ravens today, sending the Titans into the second round of the playoffs in Madden NFL 10.

The Tennessee Titans (9-7) took on the Baltimore Ravens (10-6) in the opening game of the AFC Wildcard game today in a crazy back and forth game filled with dazzling special teams and defensive play. QB Joe Flacco threw an interception as time wound down that rookie CB Ryan Mouton intercepted with less than 20 seconds to go in regulation to seal the Titans victory."

This is a great game! Enjoy it? The people who make this game, I'm guessing, probably love this game as much if not more than you do.

Love the CPU AI at the end of the Half and end of the game. Running the 2 minute offense and throwing towards the sideline. Details.

Game looks great. Love the physics, the animations, and the manual control that I see the game has. The D's swarm to the ballcarrier which is awesome. Is there gonna be a user catch icon like there were for PS2 games? I saw a user pick one.

I have it marked play by play where an OLB or SS steps inside and leave the outside open, or the OLB just stands there motionless and waits for a blocker rather than stepping up the field and taking on the blocker. It happens A LOT I'm in the 4th qtr now and I count it happening 8 times. Either the OLB (SS in 33 Odd) simply stands there and waits doing nothing, or he slides inside leaving the outside open.

Not liking how the reciever warps into posistion to make the tackle on the Ed Reed pick, that should of been a big gainer for Reed as the reciever was headed full speed the other way then magically warps into posistion to make the tackle on Reed.

Also love how good CJ is. If the defense doesn't swarm on him -- or he breaks it to the outside, his speed takes over. As it should.

Ian I told you a million times I wanted a BLUE car!

This is in reference to the video on the last page, just in case someone is reading out of context.

I am impressed with the AI and playcalling inside of 2 minutes... it actually seemed very realistic... made it feel a LOT more like an NFL game than in years past...

Why are there so many haters the game looks amazing. There are a few kinks that can be adressed but for the majority of these post to be negative is dissapointing great job well done ian.Pursuit angles on kickoffs can be tweaked more of a defensive presence for the ravens d like even tho the numbers were there for the pass rush maybe 1 or 2 seconds less might satisfy that defensive feel.GREAT GAME!!!!!!!

I probably couldn't if I tried. Congrats to you. I was just taking a cheap shot. I used to lurk the BB forums until it started to seem like a cult. I'm a little bit of a Backbreaker ***** now.

Thanks for hammering home the point I was trying to make.

EA has the "BEST INTENTIONS". Maybe the results sometimes are not what we want but we should be thankful for the honest effort put into this game. But in the real world, (and EA knows this all too well), some people will never be satisfied no matter what you give them and they will always want more.

"Here's $20 bucks"..............."I wanted $40"

"Here's a nice dinner" ..........."Where's my dessert?"

"Here's a new car"............."It's the wrong color"

"Here's the best Football game ever made"........."It's not good enough"

You know what, I'm sorry but some of you people seem a bit brain dead. Yes , Realistic running animations are important to me, but I have the brain power to realize that this is an alpha build of the game, and it has not been fine tuned yet. I also have faith that Ian and Co. will do their best to put out the most realistic football game they can within the time frame they've been allowed. I'm actually surprised no one has complained about the color of the sky yet!!!!!

Did you guys play any of the PS2 great Maddens? 05, 06, 07? The game was great then...the last 3 years on 360 it's been Ortiz' team and it just didn't pan out for them or for us the gamer as we thought it should. This game on the other hand looks incredible.

It's not free throw shooting. Home crowds make noise because they're excited when their team is going to score. Half of them are drunk out of their minds. There's always an escalation in volume when the home team is on the doorstep. I'm not saying at the top of their lungs but it's very noticeable. It doesn't get pin drop quiet.

Random things...

It seems the Ravens coach was shown quite a bit more than Titans coach. He was also pumping up his team and the other didn't.

I wish there were more replays of some close plays. Like the pass to Gage that was almost intercepted. That would be cool to have a cutscene replay.

At 6:16 of the first vid the Titans Oline are bunched up blocking. Looks bad.

If it's cold why is everyone in short sleeves? Refs, players, coaches...shouldn't some be bundled up?

Game looks good though. Huge strides in one year. Keep it up.

I'm still there. I'd rather help than hurt. I'm not a fanboy of any football game. I'm a fan of football period. Bashing any game doesn't help progress move forward at all.

Ian thanks for the video. Things are really getting better. The presentation, the tackling, the lighting and shadows in the stadium look great.

In all honesty I'm buying the game every year, it's that or talk to the wife another 6 hours a week. Uggh.
