NBA 2K14: Next-Gen Details on Gameplay, AI, New Modes and more!

Lebron James NBA 2K14 Next-Gen.

2K Sports today revealed a whole boatload of information about NBA 2K14 on next-gen consoles, which includes a four-tier approach with NBA Today, MyCAREER. MyTEAM and MyGM all receiving a huge imagining for next-generation consoles.

I want to see it too, some of the stuff sounds good but I need to see it.

Now Aaron is there, so he is seeing it, and he'll do a write up and give us some pics. I dont know what their schedule is but with the system release like 2 1/2 weeks away we should be getting some gameplay and not 2 days before release. Its kind of nauseating that this only really happens with sports games.

Can't wait to play MyGM it sounds like it is going to be great. Would have liked to have seen the 5 on 5 gameplay that the people at the event watched.

Sorry for being oddly specific, but did they say "legends"? Or "classic teams"? I have this fear they'll conform in the wrong direction with classics, opting to include only stars as MyTeam fodder and ridding of classic teams altogether.

I am admittedly paranoid.

While i'm SUPER excited for MyGM mode, this new engine and some of the notes about it have my mind running in circles. If they really harnessed the power of these systems and improved the AI like they said, this could possibly the best/smartest sports game ever created. I absolutely cannot wait until we see how the computer AI plays.

Also, the tidbit about each jumpshot looking different is mind blowing. Will literally give you something new to see every game.

LD2K said the same legends and classic teams from current gen have made their way to next gen. No need to worry

Are you aware whether or not MyGM mode strictly a GM mode or are you able to play a season within that as well? And/or is there a season mode in the game?

Even with all the other news, features, details, and improvements, it's that little tidbit you just dropped that has made my day. Now hopefully they're still around by the time I'm able to purchase a new system.

YOU ARE RIGHT! I'm kinda disappointed. I mean, I'm literally an OFFLINE gamer if I don't have an online subscription for multiplayer. Literally, offline. But I can connect to servers on the free subscription (assuming that I don't need Gold/Plus to play myGM)

Honestly, if MyGM is half of what it's cracked up to be, I won't miss offline association. I feel like MYGM mode is just an 100X improved association mode with a new name.

Don't fly off the deep end yet people. (Unless of course you really love multi user associations offline)
