NBA 2K14: Next-Gen Details on Gameplay, AI, New Modes and more!

Lebron James NBA 2K14 Next-Gen.

2K Sports today revealed a whole boatload of information about NBA 2K14 on next-gen consoles, which includes a four-tier approach with NBA Today, MyCAREER. MyTEAM and MyGM all receiving a huge imagining for next-generation consoles.

That was the other big omission from my end. Again, there was a lot of greatness revealed today and that's pretty cool, but a lack of classics would also be a real bummer.

Where is Online Modes, where is Online Leagues Mode? And any other stuff related with online ?

That's not looking good. A bad experience on online with PS4 can't be acceptable.

I must be one of the few who can't stand online.. I prefer just having a buddy over and playing. Too many cheesers and quitters online.

No, they seem to think it's party of MyCareer. If it was that, it wouldn't have it's own name. BTW, someone asked the difference between MyPlayer and MyCareer. The MyPlayer is your player. MyCareer is the mode you can play him in.

Everything sounds AMAZING

but I was hoping to hear about online. How is this game going to play online? Will there be dedicated servers? Will it play as smooth online as it does offline? I NEEEEEEEEEEEED to know this stuff

I hope that you can have more than one MyPlayer. I don't necessarily want a player that looks like me for MyGM.

When they let you do this at your house, this will be a great selling point for them. May work better with the Kinect, but if you could accurately scan yourself into the game and take yourself into MyPlayer, most people are gonna do that I would think. I'll be interested to see how good people look who were scanned in at this event.

Preach. That's the selling point on if I will get a next gen system and this game. If MyGM is a trumped up myplayer then I will definitely be passing.
