[RELEASE] NBA 2K13 .ROS RESIGNER

Not sure what im doing wrong.

1. I transfer roster file from 360 to PC.
2. Open file with Modio and extract to desktop.
3. Edit it with Lethos editor then save.
4. Then when I try and open in NBA 2k13.ros resigner I get Error format strings can be only G g, X x F f D or d

Edit: nevermind it was Modio screwing it up. I used USB Xplorer to extract it to PC and it worked great.

Is this tool being updated? This wont work for me either. I have tried on 2 different pc.

No, It doesn't need to be updated it's mostly user error causing issue or user computer missing necessary items. There is nothing I can do, but say update your computer with .netframwork or try something other then modio & horizon. Usbxtaf is the best for adding file back to usb it doesn't have all the "pretty things".

I wish I had a error message all I can guess is that your virus protector is blocking something possibly. Try turning it off before using tool.

As far as people having trouble here's step by step.

Google usb xplorer and download it. Download Leftos roster editor which can be found on another thread. Download chromes roster resigner from this thread.

1.put usb in Xbox. Go to system. Then storage. Then NBA 2k13. Then saves. Then the roster file. Select copy then select your usb device and it will copy the roster file to it.

2. Take usb out of Xbox and into your pc.

3. Open usb xplorer. Click file. Click open usb drive. Click the Plus sign beside data partition then beside content. Keep clicking the plus signs til you get to the roster file. Highlight the roster file then right click and choose extract. I extracted to desktop. Leave usb explorer open.

4. I like to back up that roster file that's on the desktop but you don't have to. Now open leftos roster editor and edit away. When your done hit save player and it will automatically save to the roster on your desktop.

5. Open chromes roster resigner and click on open. Select your roster file from desktop. Click save. A message should come up saying it resigned it. Close the tool your done with it.

6. The next part I'm not sure if it's the right way but it s what worked for me. In usb xplorer right click the roster file that you initially extracted and delete it. Drag the edited roster from desktop into that same window. Click file and click close device.

7. Put usb back in Xbox. Go to system then storage. Go to usb device. Go to nba 2k13 then saves then to your roster file. Select copy then select your hardrive. Xbox will tell you file already exists do u wish to overwrite? Say yes.

8. Fire up the game. Load your roster and changes should be there.

do anyone know how to get the program to atleast open...(i have been having troubling opening alot of the programs that have been coming out... )every time i download it.. it never opens..i get the Nba 2k13 ros resigner has encountered a problem and needs to close.. error message with the option of debug.. and that is all that it does everytime.. i press debug and nothing happens.. is there a way around it.. i only have one pc...and my netframework is the most up to date.. thanks for any help in advance,,,

I owe all I've done to your resigner but I recently upgraded my computer to windows 8 (preview version) and the resigner no longer works... windows 8 comes out in 10 days which means less and less people will be able to use your resigner. Is there a way you could update it to make it compatible for all or could you explain a manual method to fix the roster files within hex editors. thanks.
