MLB 14 The Show Features Online Franchise - New Screenshots and Videos From Taiwan

Operation Sports reader tedus captured a few videos from his MLB 14 The Show hands-on in Taiwan. He also grabbed a couple of screenshots showing off the new front end, which confirms online franchise.

Below are a few of his impressions, after playing for 10 minutes. More info is sure to come soon, but until then, enjoy.

The field/batting camera changed!
Presentation almost the same!
Control felt good!
Base running animation felt some different!
Fielding felt more responsive

Either way MLB 14 on the ps4 has already exceeded my expectations the Fenway Park comparsions pics and the fact The Show has been great for years had already sold me on a ps4 and the game. Its just a matter on waiting for the game to come out.

2K baseball and Basketball have always had it even dating back to Dreamcast days. Madden/NCAA football have always had it too dating back to PS1 days

Not sure if anyone noticed or has mentioned it but in the beginning Jackie Bradley Jr. is at the plate and the game does a layover showing his Triple-A stats. I've never seen that before. Just a neat tid bit I noticed that makes The Show so awesome!

I think we're there now with the PS4. Agree just having the option to choose an opened or closed version of the stadium would suffice for me. Opening/Closing during a game with rain delays can come in future iterations !!!

With the amount of time it takes to construct ONE stadium for the PS4...we'll be lucky if we have more than 5 to choose from!
(I'm overstating a "bit"...but believe me.....it's one of the tightest things with time now....to get all the stadiums completed.)

Relax...I'm trying to stress how much time it takes to construct the stadiums for the PS4 version.

oh so we can expect a tremendous level of details !!!

They're probably working on it for a while..maybe a year even 2...I'm confident they'll have enough time to complete those 36 versions

I gotcha I know it takes a ton of time (you've been saying that here for a few years now so I know where you're coming from on that) I was just stating that I hope those 6 get that update. It's not a game killer by any means, but with the PS4 that should be there otherwise they need to rework weather in those cities cause it gets annoying when it's raining in stadiums it shouldn't be. (the 6 mentioned)

So pumped for this years game. I'm waiting until the PS4 release happens. I want to be immersed in the next gen experience!
